Joseph Sirois

Joseph Sirois, 39, passed away on June 22, 2023, in Fitchburg, MA after complications from pneumonia.

Joseph was born at Henry Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA on February 19, 1984, son to Martha Sirois and Paul Schlotter. He graduated from Conant High School in 2002. Upon graduation, he joined his father in the wholesale produce business.

A successful entrepreneur, he owned his own produce business called Joseph’s Premium Produce for many years. Affectionately known as Tomato Joe, he rose daily before dawn to travel to Boston’s Produce Market. Joe considered all the people at the Market as his family.

Joe’s extended family remembers his beautiful smile, his sense of humor, love of WWF, aquariums, fishing, children, and Joe Rogan. There wasn’t a gathering where Joe didn’t hold court regaling his audience with his stories.

Joe is survived by his mother, father, many cousins, aunts, uncles and both his grandmothers.

Friends and family are invited to attend Joe’s services on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Chapel at Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452.

Joe will be laid to rest at Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey, NH at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Joseph’s name to a charity of your choice.
