Kenneth R. Bussiere, 65, a lifelong resident of Jaffrey, NH, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, following a period of failing health.

Kenney was born in Peterborough, NH, on April 5, 1961, a son of Robert E. and Stella M. (Bourgoine) Bussiere. He proudly graduated with the Class of 1979 from Conant High School. As a young adult, Kenney joined his family business at Tires Unlimited in Jaffrey, and later in Peterborough. He continued his work in the automotive industry as a sales professional, a career that suited his personable nature and genuine ability to connect with people. He cherished the relationships he built along the way and worked many years at the Fenton Dealerships.

As his children were growing up, Kenney loved coaching many of their youth sports teams and watching them play whenever he could. It meant everything to him to be there to cheer them on and share in their accomplishments. His love of sports also extended to his favorite Boston and New England teams, which he followed with unwavering loyalty. There was never much question in the Bussiere household about which teams the family would be rooting for.

Kenney was happiest when he was outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling, and he especially loved vacationing in Maine. He also treasured the opportunity to explore the beauty of the country's National Parks, with Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier holding a special place in his heart.

Kenney had a tremendous love for animals, especially his beloved dogs, who were truly part of the family. They were his constant companions and brought him endless happiness. He made sure they were always well loved and cared for. Every now and then, a cat would find its way into his heart, too, proving that he had a soft spot for just about any animal that crossed his path.

At home, Kenney enjoyed grilling and cooking, taking great pride in being the family's grill master. He loved sharing good food and time with the people he loved, whether serving up incredible ribs or a homemade pizza. He also had a definite weakness for all things caramel.

Kenney was predeceased by his parents; his niece, Elizabeth; his brother, Paul; and his brother-in-law, Stacey Guyette.

He will be forever missed by his beloved son, Joshua D. Bussiere of Trussville, AL, and his wife, Candace; his beloved daughter, Ashley M. Bussiere of Jaffrey; his former wife, Robin (Rivard) Bussiere of Jaffrey; his brother, Steven Bussiere and his wife, Betty Ann, of Jaffrey; his sister, Linda M. Guyette of Peterborough; his sister-in-law, Candy Bussiere of Peterborough; his five beloved grand-pets; and his many other family members and friends.

Kenney leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by his family and friends, from family vacations to Maine and weekends spent trying new restaurants, to attending games and cheering from the stands, and Sunday family game nights filled with laughter and friendly competition. These are the moments that will be remembered and carried on, along with countless other adventures, gatherings, and everyday moments shared together. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing these memories with him.

Family and friends are invited to Celebrate Kenney's Life on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Humiston American Legion, 20 Webster Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
