Kevin Lawrence MacMillan, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2026, in the comfort of his home.
He was born on Mothers Day, May 14th, 1995, a son of Russell C. MacMillan and Tracy A. Membrino.
Kevin grew up in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, spending his childhood and younger years running around Cherry Hill Farm and was a 2013 graduate of Lunenburg High School. Kevin enjoyed playing travel dek hockey and was a member of the Lunenburg/Ayer Blue Knights Ice Hockey Team, and the Lunenburg Blue Knights Golf Team. Upon his graduation he would go on to study at Mount Wachusett Community College, where he further explored his interests and talents.
Kevin never entered a room where he could not make a friend. While he enjoyed his alone time and solitude he would never turn down a riveting conversation and cared deeply about everyone around him. He had a passion for music, which was a constant and meaningful part of his life, spending countless hours listening to a wide range of artists and genres and channeling his creativity into producing and creating his own music. Kevin was an avid videogamer, using his love for gaming to connect with friends and meet new people. Kevin believed great things lay in the past for us to learn from, he loved History as well as thrifting and collecting unique antiques and sports cards. Kevin was passionate about photography, lifting others up, and a good round of golf.
Kevin cherished his family. He had a special love for his nieces and nephews, who brought him happiness and joy. He treasured the time he spent with them, and they will forever hold dear the memories of his kindness, humor, and the joy he brought into their lives.
Kevin was predeceased by his great-grandmother, Beatrice Stepton, his grandfather, Douglas MacMillan, and his nephew, Easton Duval.
He is survived by his parents, Tracy Membrino and Russell MacMillan, his sister, Briana Duval and husband Todd Duval of Ashburnham, MA, his brother Craig MacMillan and wife Ferris MacMillan of Grafton, MA, and his nieces and nephews, Rowan and Xander Duval and Maverick and Regan MacMillan.
A private ceremony will be held for Kevin. In addition a celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 14th, at Hollis Hill Farm from 3-6pm, the family invites all who wish to celebrate Kevin’s life to attend.
In lieu of flowers please consider bestowing a random act of kindness upon a stranger in Kevin’s name. Lift others up how Kevin felt we all deserved to be lifted.
