Lucille Claire Noah, 72, of Sweet Home, OR, died April 1, 2021 peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side.

She was born July 20, 1948 to Maurice and Lorraine (Forcier) Poirier in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan, Canada.

In 1960, her family immigrated from their home in Canada to Jaffrey, NH. After graduating from Conant High School in Jaffrey, and working at various businesses around town, Lucille and her young daughter moved to Sweet Home. It was in 1981 that she met the love of her life, Gary Noah, and they later married. She loved her family and even after going out West visited whenever she could.

Mrs. Noah worked for 30 years at the Twin Oaks Care Center, where she made life-long friendships with all those she worked with and encountered.

She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved traveling and enjoying retirement with her husband as well.

Mrs. Noah is survived by her husband, Gary Noah; her daughters, Julie and son-in-law Robert Leininger, and Shellye and son-in-law Tony Webb, all of Sweet Home, OR; Staci and son-in-law Matt Corriea of Chico, CA, Kaci Noah and partner Josh of Newport; her sisters, Paulette Poirier and Lucien of Joliette, Quebec; Carmen and Ed Van Blarcom of Jaffrey, NH, and Jeanne and Will DuVal of Vero Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Noah was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Lorraine; and her older brother Roland Poirier.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for this summer in her honor and will be determined at a later time.
