Mary Elizabeth Poplin

Mary Elizabeth Poplin nee Risden, 73, of Jaffrey died April 23, 2012. Born March 20, 1939, in Dillonvale, Ohio to Wetzel Risden and Aileen Markie. Mary was an avid gardener and was an artist active in the local art scene. She has shown her work at both the Sharon Arts Center in Peterborough and the Jaffrey Civic Center. Mary is survived by her loving husband, James F. Poplin; her children, Mark Earley of Malden, Massachusetts and Courtney Farley of Rochester, NH; her grandchildren, Ben and Samuel Perez and Thais and Blai Earley. She also leaves a sister, Muriel Best, and a brother, Raymond Risden, both of Ohio. Mary will also be missed by countless friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition, 18 Belle Lane, Lee, NH 03861-6438.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at All Saints Church, Concord Street, Peterborough at 1:00 pm.
