Michael A. Jackman, 24, of New Ipswich, died unexpectedly at his home on February 15, 2021.
Michael was born on June 27, 1996 in Southbridge, MA, the son of Charlie and Irene Jackman. His family had lived in Woodstock CT for 10 years before moving to New Ipswich, NH where he graduated with the Class of 2016 from Mascenic Regional High School.
Michael was a hard worker and became a business owner early. He saw the value in recycling and began M & J Junk Car Removal in New Ipswich with his fiancé Jennifer Caruso. They made a great team with their business and beyond with their family.
Michael loved snowmobiling and working on cars with his dad, Michael also enjoyed attending NHRA Drag Racing events every year with his family & classic car shows. Michael also loved to go deep-sea fishing.
When Michael was 3, he discovered the excitement of snowmobiling with his family, riding with his dad on his sled for hours and hours, until he was big enough to pilot one alone. He had ridden them ever since and shared his love for the sport through being an active member of the Pittsburg Ridge Runner Snowmobile Club and locally with the Sno-Moles. He also enjoyed camping with his family, fishing – especially deep-sea fishing, and spending time with family and friends, either in person or playing Xbox together.
Michael was adventurous, kind-hearted, and loving, he was always willing to help someone in need. Michael was known to be a goofball at times and loved to laugh. He will always be remembered for his selfless acts of kindness the love for his family.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Veronica Beausoleil, his paternal grandfather, Charles J. Jackman, and by his beloved Nalla.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, his brother, Danny Jackman of New Ipswich, NH his sister, Dreama Jackman of Painesville, OH, his fiancé Jennifer Caruso-(Jackman) of New Ipswich NH, her children, Alexis, of Manchester, NH, Micaela and Sophie, of Greenville, NH, Olivia, of Plattsburg, NY, and Tyler, of Greenville, NH. Michael is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Victor Beausoleil of Plainfield, CT, his paternal grandmother, Patricia Jackman, of Tewksbury, MA, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends, and his pets, Baby and Diesel.
A walk-through visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452. Those attending will be required to adhere to current guidelines by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
