Richard 'Dick' Webber

Richard P. ‘Dick’ Webber, 77, formerly of Jaffrey, NH and Methuen, MA died peacefully on Sunday August 12, 2018 at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH with his sister by his side.

Dick was born on November 18, 1940 in Boston, MA, son of the late Donald and Ann (Burgher) Webber. His family lived for many years in Rindge and Jaffrey and he graduated with the Class of 1959 from Conant High School. Dick graduated from Becker Junior College in Worcester Mass in 1961 before serving honorably in the United States Army. During his service, Dick graduated from the Finance School of the US Army and later worked in the Army’s finance department while he was stationed in France.

After his honorable discharge, Dick worked as an accountant and had owned several of his own businesses. In his spare time, he enjoyed and owned several antique cars and was a wood worker and craftsman making and restoring furniture. He was a friend to all stray cats and cared for several of them himself. He felt no stray cat should ever go hungry.

In addition to his parents, Dick was predeceased by his beloved partner of more than 25 years, Judy Doyle. He is survived by his son Eric, his daughter Jackie, his 2 grandchildren, his extended family including his sister Donna and her husband Elmo Ouellette of Jaffrey and many close friends including Maureen Murphy of Methuen, MA.

At Dick's request there will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
