Richard J. Perreault, 57, of Temple, New Hampshire, passed away on June 22, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital after a long and courageous battle with a culmination of illnesses.

Dicky was born in Leominster, Massachusetts, on May 12, 1969, the son of Paul and Donna (Webber) Perreault. He grew up in New Ipswich, New Hampshire, attending Mascenic Regional High School before graduating from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College.

Dicky is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Tina (Russell) Perreault; his son, Sean Perreault and his wife, Naomi (Humphrey), along with their daughters, Maren and Rosie; and his daughter, Sarah (Perreault) Leahigh, and her wife, Izabelle Leahigh, along with their son, Maeson. He is also survived by his sister, Cassie Wallace and her partner, Dave Duhaime; his sister, Dani Hudson and her husband, Dwayne; his brother, Paul Perreault Jr. and his wife, Lisa; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Dicky worked as a cabinet maker for many years at D.S. Huntington Company until his health made it impossible for him to continue. Never one to sit still, he continued to express his creativity through woodworking, patiently transforming ideas into beautifully crafted cabinets, bookshelves, cutting boards, and countless other projects. He was always willing to help others solve problems, connect them with the right people, or teach them a new skill while lending a hand. Whether helping a neighbor repair something or sharing a conversation on a back porch, Dicky made the most of every moment and was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need.

Dicky was admired for his strength, resilience, and unwavering optimism throughout his many health challenges. Even as new obstacles arose, he faced them with courage, determination, and a sense of humor that helped carry him through difficult treatments. He was deeply grateful for the compassionate care he received from the Bone Marrow Transplant team and hoped that his participation in treatments and clinical trials would help improve the lives of future patients.

Above all, Dicky was a devoted husband, father, grampa, and friend. He was dedicated to providing a loving and supportive home and treasured every moment spent with his family. He cherished watching his children grow and delighted in making memories with his grandchildren—tossing balls, pulling sleds, reading stories, and building with blocks. He also enjoyed working on projects with family, taking leisurely drives and motorcycle rides, watching sunrises at the beach, and relaxing around the fire pit.

His legacy of alacrity, craftsmanship, strength, and unwavering love for his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 2pm to 5pm at the Temple Town Hall, 19 Main Street, Temple, NH. In honor of Dicky, family and friends are encouraged to wear casual clothing as we gather to celebrate his life, share memories, and remember the remarkable man he was.
