Robert M. Austin

Robert Maurice Austin passed away on February 9, 2024 in Trinity, Texas.  He was born March 1, 1926, in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, the son of James W. and Doris (Story) Austin.  

‘Bob’ was a proud Veteran, serving the United States Army Air Force through several tours, with his final deployment being to serve in the Korean War.  He was a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge and served a past Lodge Master.  In his leisure time, he loved being outdoors deer hunting or fishing the lake.  He will be dearly missed by those that he leaves behind to cherish his memory and protect his legacy.  

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife JoAnn; brothers Bill and James; and sisters Ardelle and Lois.  

He is survived by his sons, Joel Austin and wife Irene, and Jeffrey Austin and wife Ruby; and four grandchildren.  

A Graveside Service in Robert’s memory will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Conant Cemetery on Stratton Road in Jaffrey, NH.
