Born on April 5, 1922 in Peterborough, she was the daughter of Joseph and Claudia
(Garneau) Morin. She was a 1941 graduate of the former Peterborough High School.
She had worked at the American Guernsey Cattle Club and New Hampshire Ball Bearing, both in Peterborough.

She was very active in parish activities including CCD, Parish Council, St. Vincent de Paul Society, the choir and a member of the Ladies Guild for over 70 years. For many years, the flower arrangements on the altars at St. Peter's for weekend mass were thoughtfully designed and arranged by Rose-Anna.
In her time with the Ladies Guild, she held various positions, including President, Treasurer and Secretary. In 1994 she was the recipient of the Ethel K. Cavanaugh Award.

She was an avid cook and baker and was known for her chocolate chip cookies and apple pies. She was also an accomplished knitter whose beautiful creations were treasured by those who received them. Her grandsons never needed to purchase hats and mittens when winter approached.

She was predeceased by her husband Francis J. McDermott on December 17, 1959, and her siblings, Lena Boudrieau, Eva Donnelly, Arthur Morin and Alfred Morin all died earlier.

Rose-Anna is survived by her son Patrick McDermott and his wife Barbara of Manchester; 2 grandsons, Andrew J. McDermott, PhD. of Madison, WI and Daniel P. McDermott of Manchester; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
