Russell "Russ" J. Santos

Russell “Russ” J. Santos 66, of Milford, NH passed away peacefully at his home on June 2, 2025, with his wife Cyndi by his side after a brave battle with heart disease.

He was born on September 27. 1958 in Providence, RI. Son of the late James R. Santos and Marie (Soares) Santos.

A graduate of Our Lady of Providence high school in 1976, he began his career after earning his associate’s degree from Roger Williams College. He dedicated many years working in security and the auto parts industry.

Along with his wife, Russ enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales, as well as going to breakfast at local restaurants. He had a variety of interests including amateur radio. He was a lifelong fan of the Boston Bruins, which he enjoyed talking to friends and family about their games. Russ possessed a natural talent for fixing and repairing things. He was ready to tackle any challenge that came his way. He was proud of being a Boy Scout leader, participating with his son in many activities.

He had a great love for animals. His happiest times were being surrounded by his pets. Russ leaves behind Daisy, Wally, Elliot and Freddie, that he and his wife rescued.

Cynthia (Ball) Santos of Milford, NH (formerly of Jaffrey, NH) His son Joseph J. Santos and his longtime girlfriend Alessia DeFelice of Warwick, RI and his brother Phil Santos of Riverside, RI.

Russ was very proud of his grandson Johnathan Russell Santos. He took great joy in watching him play trombone in his school band and in his karate events.

In accordance with his wishes, services will be private.
