Sally Ann DeMarsico

October 18, 1958 — February 4, 2022

Sally Ann DeMarsico, 63, of Troy, NH, passed away at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene NH, on February 4, 2022, after a period of declining health.

Sally was born on October 18, 1958, in Pittsfield, MA to parents Frank and Dorathea (Kie) Speth. Sally grew up in Pittsfield and attended Taconic High School. Following High School, Sally met her husband, Chris. They were married August 29, 1981, and shared 41 amazing years together.

Sally worked many different odd jobs, but TJ Maxx was where she spent the majority of her career. Sally’s most important job was being a mother. She would always work the second shift, so she could be there to raise and nurture her children. Sally was able to give them the most important thing in life, lasting and loving memories. Besides being a loving mother, Sally was the proudest, being a grandma to her two granddaughters.

Sally was larger than life. Her and her husband Chris would play pool on league nights, but the outdoors was where she loved to be. She loved to garden and fish. When Sally was receiving cancer treatments, she was told she couldn’t lift over ten pounds. This didn’t stop Her. She went fishing and managed to reel in an 8-pound bass, 2 feet long, all by herself. She didn’t need help, that’s just the person she was. Sally was a strong woman.

Sally is survived by her loving husband Chris, after 41 beautiful years of marriage. Her mother Dorathea (Kia) Speth of Pittsfield, MA, Her daughter, Casey Mowatt and son-in-law Fedrick and their two children Olivia and Zoey of Springfield, MA, Her daughter Lee Speth and her life partner Michelle Guyette of Maricopa, AZ, Her son Chris DeMarsico II of Troy, NH, Her brother Frank Speth Jr. of Pittsfield, MA, Her three sisters Sherry Rando of Pittsfield, MA, Susan (Ray) Daley of Dalton, MA, Ellen (John) Lepage of New Lebanon, NY, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Monadnock Humane Society, and St Jude. A memorial service for Sally will be held on Sunday February 20, 2022, 1:00 PM at Troy Recreation Center.
