Teresita Infante Grenier, of Dublin, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones at Frisbee Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
She was born on March 29, 1937 in Santa Marta, Colombia, daughter of the late María and Roberto Infante.
Mrs. Grenier was nicknamed, “Mimi,” by her immediate family, whom she was devoted to. She was also dedicated to her pets, of which many she adopted. She was also an ardent celebrant at St. Patrick’s parish.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Maurice Joseph Grenier. Mrs. Grenier had nine brothers and sisters, six of whom had passed before her: Roberto Infante, Rosa Infante, Pedro Infante, Jacobo Infante, Margarita Infante Espina, and Rafael Infante. Her two sisters, Mary Campbell of Akron, OH and Beatrice McDonald of Gainesville, FL are still living.
She was the loving mother of Michael Grenier of Dublin, New Hampshire, Monique and Barry Tanner of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and Sarah and John Poisson of New Castle, New Hampshire. She was the adored grandmother of Kelly Tanner Charlton and Jennifer Tanner Brower as well as Emma and Matthew Poisson. Mrs. Grenier was an affectionate great-grandmother to Paul, Loa, Evan, and Asher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of Saint Patrick Church in Jaffrey will officiate. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Grenier’s family would prefer memorial donations made in her name to Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
