Listen to Obituary

Wayne Arthur Koski, 75, died Tuesday afternoon, December 30, 2025 at home with his wife and son by his side.

Wayne was born on July 23, 1950 at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, the son of Bruno C. and Lena (Sirois) Koski. He attended Jaffrey Grade School and graduated from Conant High School in Jaffrey in 1969 before studying at the N.H. Vocational Institute at Claremont, which had just opened the year before. It has since become River Valley Community College.

Wayne entered the workforce as a machinist at D.D. Bean & Sons Co. in Jaffrey where his father also worked. In 1979 he joined N.H. Ball Bearings in Peterborough as a manufacturing engineer, retiring in 2016 after 37 years there.

He married Pamela Marie Pasquale of Rindge on February 27, 1971. They were married for 54 years. They welcomed their son, Eric Donald Koski on October 22, 1973.

Wayne’s favorite pastime was summer fishing and ice fishing. He lived across the road from a fishing and boating pond, Mountain Stream Reservoir, which is surrounded by woods. This setting provided countless hours of exploration, enjoyment and learning about the natural world. Just rowing his boat on the pond brought him pleasure. He taught his son Eric and grandson Corey to fish there.

Wayne was an active and outstanding member of Masonic Charity Lodge No. 18 of Jaffrey. He became a Master Mason in September of 1988. He was also a 32 degree Rite Mason, and a member of the Masonic Scottish Rite, Valley of Keene since November 1991. In addition, he was a long-time member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

Wayne was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Felix and Florina (Dubois) Sirois, his paternal grandparents Bruno W. and Amelia (Heinonen) Koski, and his parents, all of Jaffrey.

He is survived by his wife Pam, their son Eric and Eric’s wife Kimberly Annette (Young) Koski of Gardner, Massachusetts, Eric and Kim’s son Corey Wayne Koski who joined the U.S. Marine Corps in August 2025, Wayne’s brothers Kenneth Koski and Steven Koski of Saint Albans, Vermont, and many cousins and longtime friends.
