Covid-19

A Message to Our Families Regarding COVID-19

Please know we are still open and available to serve you in your time of need, even during this pandemic.

We have been serving this community for more than 100 years and, like you, we have never encountered anything like this before.

Be assured that we will continue to serve you with our utmost compassion, care and respect, while trying to stay within the important guidelines put in place to protect your health and ours.

Funerals, Visitations and Memorial Services will now be limited to accommodate the restrictions made by Governor Chris Sununu in his Emergency Orders, which placed a temporary prohibition on scheduled gatherings of 10 or more attendees.
While adhering to these limitations, we will always see to the needs of immediate family members, and only ask for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.

Any service or gathering held during these difficult times, whether here at the funeral home, or elsewhere, will be recorded and able to be viewed on their respective memorial pages here on cournoyerfh.com.

For the foreseeable future, Military Honors will not be able to be rendered, either locally or at any Veterans Cemetery; the Diocese of Manchester has suspended all publicly attended Masses, and most churches are only holding services electronically until further notice.
Additionally, even with as mild of a winter as it has been, most of our local cemeteries are still closed and/or will not allow anyone other than immediate family members to attend a burial.

As always, we are able to make all arrangements with you online or over the telephone, including making selections of all merchandise and remembrance items.
We will always spend as much time as you need together on the telephone, in order to answer your questions, help calm your concerns, and to gather any information needed, in order to help limit any uncomfortable exposures.

We will continue to monitor this global situation and adjust our care and practices accordingly.  Our goal will be to continue to provide the outstanding service that has been a hallmark of our family’s funeral home, while also protecting our staff, our families and you, the public we serve.

When this crisis is safely behind us, we will help facilitate any opportunity to bring families and friends together to celebrate in a more comforting environment, the lives of those we are now limited in celebrating.

In the meantime, please remember to call your family members and friends, and know that personal telephone calls with condolences or check-ins, are always so important and appreciated, particularly during this tremendously alarming time.

We will all get through this together by supporting each other.

Sincerely,
Mark Cournoyer
