My wife, Dawn, and I founded Cannon & Quill Engraving and Design as a venture that both complements and stands apart from our work in the funeral home environment.

Our journey began in 2020, when the world changed unexpectedly during the COVID pandemic. Taking a leap, I purchased a small CO₂ laser and began learning the craft of personalized engraving. In the early days, we were limited to small items, but as our skills grew and opportunities unfolded, our ‘hobby’ has quickly evolved!

Today, we can create or personalize a wide range of items of all sizes and materials.

Dawn continues to expand her work in vinyl design, while I strive to continue building experience with the creative possibilities of laser engraving. Quality remains at the heart of everything we do, as we always aim to bring a higher level of refinement and craftsmanship to each piece we make.

We’ve also expanded our offerings to include products designed for entertaining, such as centerpieces, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, as well as drinkware, slate and even metal artwork.
